| Hi Everyone, My name is Erlinda Armendariz, I am a life long resident of Redlands, Graduated from Redlands, High. Several years ago I started a Pageant in the City of Corona Called Circle City Miss Corona Pageant. I was tired of pageants that you had to be the prettiest one in the room. So my pageants have more to do with mentoring. We just recently held our second pageant in Corona and this last July we held the 1st Annual Mr. Corona Pageant. Seeing that I am from Redlands, I thought it would be great to start our next pageant here in my home tome. My goal for the pageant is to get the young people in our community involved with community service. If you take a look at the Circle City Miss Corona pageant you will see all the organizations that the Queens work with. For example: Make a Wish, Muscular Dystrophy, Alzhiemers Memory Walk and this year Habitat for Humanity. I would like to start by finding out who would be interested in entering the pageant. I have 9 age categories they are: DIVISION AGE BABY MISS CORONA 1 WEEK - 1 YEAR LITTLE MISS CORONA 2 YEARS - 3 YEARS TODDLER MISS CORONA 4 YEARS - 5 YEARS SWEETHEART MISS CORONA 6 YEARS - 7 YEARS JUNIOR MISS CORONA 8 YEARS - 10 YEARS PRE- TEEN MISS CORONA 11 YEARS - 12 YEARS JR. TEEN MISS CORONA 13 YEARS - 14 YEARS TEEN MISS CORONA 15 YEARS - 17 YEARS MISS CORONA 18 YEARS - 24 YEARS, The division you enter will be determined by your age the day of the pageant. The Pageant will consist of the following competitions. INTERVIEW WITH JUDGES (Interview for Pre-teen through Miss only) SPORTSWEAR COMPETITION GOWN COMPETITION ON STAGE QUESTION PRE-PAGEANT EVENTS Besides crowning 9 queens, we will also be awarding several other awards such as: MISS CONGENIALITY MISS PHOTOGENIC OTHER CATEGORIES MAY BE ADDED LATER Each year we will be giving out approximately $10,000 in cash and prizes. Cost to enter the pageant is $50 for Baby through Junior and $100 for Pre-teen through Miss. A non-refundable registration fee of $25 must accompany the application.
